Review of Waking Life (2001) by James K — 11 Jun 2009
I found it a bit disconnected, might have been better with a more coherent story (mostly because I felt distracted at time)... but that might have gone against the point of the movie. While maybe lacking a bit in plot, Richard Linklater makes it up by asking a lot of important questions, making it a very interesting film.
Especially that I've been interested in the idea of lucid dreaming myself lately, keeping a dream journal and all.
