Review of Waking Life (2001) by Dylan N — 24 Aug 2009
A man drifts through his dreams, encountering a colorful (both literally and figuratively, the animation is vibrant and alive) cast of impassioned people ranting about the fundamentals of life, death, existentialism, dreams, and the eponymous state of waking life.
Talky and dense, and slow at times, this is essentially philosophy for the conscious, and something for everyone to consider in our attempts to truly be alive.
