Review of Wakefield (2017) by Chanelle L — 06 Dec 2017
Should really be called "Try to stay aWakefield", this movie pretty much is a one-note performance by Bryan Cranston in the lead as a businessman who has had it up to here with work life, family life, and personal life, and decides to move into the family's attic above the garage while peeping into the window to see how the family is coping.
While this could be a interesting subject, the film doesn't really work as most of the dialogue is dedicated to voice voice-over, and not really fast. At some point I felt the movie was delving into dark comedy, but then it snapped back into whatever it was.
Not really an interesting film for a Friday night.
