Although this film featured a good plot and a riveting sound track, there just seemed to be something lacking. Possibly, age has caught up with JC and he just doesn't have it anymore? His previously graceful martial arts moves have been replaced in this saga with alot of gunplay and knives...not what we have come to expect and anticipate from a good Van Damme film.
Maybe he was going through a Steven Segal-like introspective phase.
