Review of Waitress (2007) by Robert C — 17 Aug 2009
Oh, this one is a real delight. I fell in love with Keri Russell in this (whom I've always liked anyway). Clever writing, a great sense of humor to it, characters that feel very real; Even Jeremy Sisto's jerk-off husband is kind of pathetic, really.
What's even sadder is that Adrienne Shelly was murdered before this was released. This could have been a watershed picture for her career.
