Review of Waitress (2007) by Justin B — 13 Sep 2009
I really loved this movie. It wasn't too sweet, too funny, or too perfect. It was real and wholesome, just like Jenna's pies! Nathan Fillion was perfectly cast as the neurotic doctor and Andy Griffith made a great humbug boss with the soft center.
The loss of Adrienne Shelly to such tragic violence is incredibly sad. Her writing, directing, and acting within the movie was top rate all around.
