Review of Waitress (2007) by Joy-Emily C — 12 Oct 2009
A sweet, sad yet heartwarming film with a fabulous cast and sparkling script. I found myself almost crying in sympathy with Jenna, the titular 'waitress' yet so happy with the slightly more unconventional ending (who needs a man?).
This film is made even more poignant by the tragic death of writer/director/actor Adrienne Shelly - she would have been so proud.
