Sweet and funny. Andy Griffith (Joe) was especially endearing. a very nice story about a woman who longs to run away from her wretched life and start afresh, who by the way makes pies that are "biblically delicious" inspired by her own life experiences. there are moments that would make you really laugh, and there are those that would tear your heart out.
Though I've never heard of Keri Russell before, I would like to think that there is no other actress that could ever play Jenna the way she did it. She has this look of misery, a woman whose talents are undermined and unappreciated and finally becomes truly happy when she was brave enough to make her choices of breaking free.
