Review of Waitress (2007) by Kyle J — 13 May 2011
Much more than a "chick flick", this quirky comedy is brilliant. Written, directed and acted in by the late Adrienne Shelly, it is a touching and charming movie that caught me by surprise. Keri Russell as Jenna is superb.
Smart dialogue and perfect pie names made me smile throughout.
"I Can't Have No Affair Because It's Wrong And I Don't Want Earl To Kill Me Pie... Vanilla custard with banana. Hold the banana.".
