"Waitress" is the new and latest work of director and screenwriter Adrienne Shelly, who unfortunately died just before his presentation at the Sundance Independent Film Festival. The film took the audience's applause and praise from critics.

The film tells the story of a small town girl who works as a waitress in a restaurant. With a life that is far from which you would like and in the midst of a failed marriage and, she is dedicated to baking cakes, it's the best he can do, baptizing each day with a different name depending on your mood.

But his life unexpectedly changes with the arrival of the new doctor to the people and the discovery of her pregnancy. A romantic comedy that shows different fear of women to learn is going to be a mother, a subject that hardly find covered in another movie.

But fear not only speaks also of love and the different forms it can take from the unconditional love a child up in love and love for the new person in your life.
