Review of Waitress (2007) by Andrew K — 27 Mar 2009
Plays out as you expect it would, but long on charm and down-home character goodness. The cast is uniformly great, especially Andy Griffith (who's a hoot), Nathan Fillion, and Cheryl Hines. Sort of bittersweet given writer/director Adrienne Shelly's death before the film's release.
