Review of Waiting for "Superman" (2010) by Irving D — 05 May 2011
WAITING FOR SUPERMAN.
The Irv review:).
This documentary depicts in an almost complete manner the ridiculous and pathetic way in which our government has yet again managed to destroy our education system for so many of our young bright people.
It's beyond sad how our school system stacks up compared to our counterparts around the world.
George Bush's "no child left behind" program has yet to make good on it's promise, as Asia and Europe's school systems continue to strive and leave us Americans in the dust, and when it clears, more of our children will find themselves working for corporations owned mostly by those who received foreign education, committing crimes when falling prey to the desperation of life's challenges;.
.....or they will become American politicians.
And so the cycle continues, for their young.
I highly recommend this movie, but be prepared to be left with a feeling of rage and a void when it's done.
