As an educator focused on students I tried for 34 years to stamp out ignorance. Seems I may have been working on the wrong people! Our schooling is failing the nation and collectively we don't have the will or the guts to fix it.
This film, painfully and personally, details how it is broken and why it is so tough to fix as well as showing some innovations that work. The focus on several individual parents and children drives the point home at a very personal and touching level.
