Review of Waiting for "Superman" (2010) by Jeff L — 22 Feb 2011

Rarely do I see a movie that absolutely KO's me. Waiting for Superman was the documentary that did just exactly that. Quite simply- if you are a parent, or have any care into the education system, see this movie. Don't think twice about it---take the time and see it now. It was recommended to me from a friend and I'm so glad he did. Especially with the events that we are going through in WI right now, the timing for me seeing this movie was perfect.

I was thinking about what to exactly say about this movie and then I realized, no...I will tell you nothing about it. I don't want you to read my review and feel satisfied enough with that so that you put it on your list to maybe see if you remember or not bother to see it at all. I will not give you the key topics that are discussed, the stats that are presented or the thoughts that are expressed. Just please make sure to see it for yourself...think about it and discuss. Don't attack...Actually be open to discussion and ideas.
