Review of Waiting for Guffman (1997) by Jack F — 02 Mar 2008
This movie does a perfect job of showing how awkward and self-important theater can be by taking it down to the ridiculous, local level, but isn't cruel enough not to acknowledge its importance at the same time.
It's funny in a Christopher Guest way; if you like Christopher Guest, you will probably like this movie.
