Review of Waiting for Guffman (1997) by Adam E — 19 Apr 2008
This may be my favorite of the Christopher Guest mockumentaries. It's got so many wonderful one-liners and it's the mark of a true great comedy: you can watch it over & over again and still find it funny.
There really isn't a weak link in this movie, like there are in some of his others. Everyone shines (particularly Parker Posey & Fred Willard) as each actor fully gets into their bizarre characters.
Simply hilarious.
