Review of Waiting for Guffman (1997) by Lauri L — 17 Apr 2010
From the start that it is clear this movie has some amazing and rich characters and it is going to be feast. The comedy is presented as this "documentary" looking at amateur theatre group preparing for the performance and the aftermath.
Nothing is forced on the viewer but it is sold with subtle touch. There are couple of pretty funny scenes but still I would have wanted to see something more happening to these people.
