Review of Waiting for Guffman (1997) by Jason D — 19 Aug 2010
This film was to be considered as mockumentary comedy but acted as faith for movie lovers who seemingly keep falling for the real thing of a film. The humor is great and non-stop. The converstation is the real gem that hold this film together.
I could care less for the cast even though they were very funny and very helpful to keep it alive and real enough to make us the viewers to actually believe it as the real thing! The plot is mixed bag but very thoughtful of the director to "fresh up" the open mindness of what its reality could be like that existed today is just what the doc would order the medicine of laughter for us to have today and perhaps later on in the future and after we were still waiting for guffman.
