Review of Waiting for Guffman (1997) by Cody P — 26 Sep 2010
For anyone who has ever been involved in theatre, no matter how big or small, this film is a must see. "Waiting for Guffman" is not Christopher Guest's best film, but it is a hysterical movie with a fantastic ensemble cast.
The characters are bizarre and outlandish, but you can't help loving them. "Guffman" also is a very funny but sweet look at life in the Midwest. But what makes the film is Guest as Guffman.
Everyone has met someone in their life (especially in theatre) who is so humorously delusion about their own abilities.
