Review of Waiting for Forever (2010) by Toma G — 04 Jun 2011
Romantic comedies/dramas/movies aren't my cup of tea and during last few years only one love story made it to my top 5. (500) Days Of Summer blew my mind that much, that I was recommending it to everyone for like a year. Somehow I thought that story of "Waiting For Forever" should be as unique as the one in (500) Days.. Unfortunately, I was very wrong.
And where to start what's wrong here.. first of all, if you want to tell a love story but doesn't have one, just don't tell it and don't mess it with murder, cancer and hundred other things. Second thing, even if the main character is sort of nice but "out of place" and everyone else is quite normal, it'll be still great if every character will have own personality.
Also, probably a better written story could have helped actors to do their job a little better.
With that, soundtrack isn't that bad here so there's still at least one thing to enjoy.
