The Big Chill meets the big chain restaurant, and the results are hilarious and strangely touching. Even if you've never been a waiter, if you've ever worked with a bunch of cutups you learned to love, this movie will seem familiar.
To the critics I say, yes it was like a home movie, but that was ON PURPOSE. I found the movie convincing...believed that all these people worked together for perhaps waaay too long. Loved the Bishop.
..every good workplace has one. The one negative is that you'll never eat in a restaurant again!
