Review of Wait Until Dark (1967) by Daniel D — 12 Mar 2008
Absolutely perfect. Basically the template for Alien, Panic Room, The Descent, and every other woman-in-peril horror film ever produced. The script is so subtle and wound so tight, and the filmmaking is a textbook demonstration on the brilliance of careful framing.
Holy shit, I can't praise this movie enough.
