Review of Wait Until Dark (1967) by Wendy Y — 09 Sep 2009
I thought this was one of Hitchcock's greatest thrillers. No wait, Alfred Hitchcock is not associated with this film whatsoever. Why would I be under this impression for so many years? One review said it was 'much like the work of Alfred Hitchcock'. It really does have that air of suspense and mystery. One scene nearly gave me a heart attack. I'm quite dumb, it took me a while to figure out why she took out all the light bulbs. Oh well. On to another great Audrey Hepburn film that I have not seen yet: A Nun's Story.
Wait, yes wait until dark is excellent, darkly rich, check it out.
