Review of Wah-Wah (2005) by Robert S — 14 Sep 2007
Beautifully honest retelling of Grant's early life in Swaziland. His direction is tight and he keeps the pace up well. Gabriel Byrne turns in a powerhouse performance as the alcoholic father - possibly his best.
Genuinely moving and surprisingly gripping - I was expecting to get a bit bored, but I was completely engrossed.
