Review of Wag the Dog (1997) by Jonathan R — 28 Apr 2008
A pretty political flick.
Exposing all the farce them politicians put up â?? everything is a fraud.
Makes you wonder why some important people die before and after elections.
In hindsight â?? some happenings in an around politics make sense to me after watching this flick.
The best quote I got: To make real change is society you have to get two generations to agree.
You can not save the world all you can do is try.
All through t the flick there is constant struggle between pessimism, optimism and realism â?? all cannot exist with out the other - of course realism is what takes the day after optimism triumphs over pessimism.
One thing to note tough â?? wherever they is talent and good one at that â?? it shall be exploited by one power-hungry person with the means to manipulate the media. It is time the fourth estate had a code of conduct â?? though you and I know any attempt to get this in place will have to go by the God Fathers manipulating the powers that be.
Worth a second watch!
