Review of Wag the Dog (1997) by Garett T — 09 Aug 2008
Fantastic, dialogue-heavy screenplay by the immortal David Mamet. I wish I wasn't half asleep when I started to view this!
I also wish that I had viewed this riiiiiight when it was initially released so that it would still seem far fetched; only four months later, Clinton and the related happenings kind of spoiled that...
Nonetheless, this film sure is a think piece, warping how you interpret the news to be real, which it "must be because it's on TV.".
I love satire!
