Review of Wag the Dog (1997) by Hugh J — 17 Feb 2009
Decent enough flick but I wasn't exactly riveted. It's got a stellar cast, a decent score and it was just fun trying to catch all the familiar faces. Unfortunately, none of it was really outstanding and I wasn't as glued to the screen as I'd hoped I'd be.
The premise is interesting enough but nothing really funny or memorable became of it. I could see the humour in what was happening but I didn't laugh. That's not to say it's a bad flick, it just didn't do it for me.
Which is strange since the cast is fucking awesome.
