Some guys invent a fake war in order to stir up enough patriotism to distract the American people from the President's problems leading up to election time. So, this movie basically foreshadowed George W's re-election after 9/11.
Well, if you substitute"invent" with "launch," and "fake war" with "terrorist attack," and "in order to" with...okay this comparison isn't holding up.
I just didn't love this movie.
