Review of Wag the Dog (1997) by D H — 26 Jul 2009
Most of the time when older, revered actors get together in a movie, the result is a letdown (see RIGHTEOUS KILL) but De Niro and Hoffman have a charming chemistry in this, perhaps because they both have real characters to bite into.
Wonderful supporting turns from Anne Heche, Denis Leary, Willie Nelson and Woody Harrelson only enhance the film.
