Waffle house is a little bit better than expected. It's a cute little film that shows the recession from a gentler time. With the exception of possibly Danny Glover the movie doesn't have any big names but the performances are pretty decent.
I enjoyed the characters. I do feel however the script could've been a little edgier. Plus the story could've had a few more surprises in it so everything didn't feel so cliché.
