Review of Wadjda (2012) by Ziyi P — 26 Dec 2013

A cute little movie. Simple and adorable in the way the story line quietly hops along. I saw a lot of characters I've seen in my own life and I like that it gave a wee bit of insight into life for the average Saudi woman.

I couldn't help but smile when it ended because it was such a victory for this little girl to break the rules. I think every woman can relate to this story even though they might be the ones who always color within the lines.
