Review of Waco: The Rules of Engagement (1997) by Allen B — 09 Nov 2010
I cannot for the life of me remember a film that got to me in this way. I'm shaking I'm so angry. Being in Fourth Grade when this happened I was confused by the whirlwind of publicity David Koresh received before the siege and ultimate massacre of his followers.
The film is an indictment of the ATF, FBI and the governing bodies that helped to mask one of the most extreme bungles in recent memory. Koresh may have been dangerous to himself and his followers. He may have been a nut job charismatic, but the manner in which he met his maker was utter insanity.
