Review of W. (2008) by Greg K — 07 Aug 2009
Down-to-earth depiction of Bush, not nearly as crude as Stone could have been. Many scenes lacked meaning, and the idea of flashing from Bush's early days to his presidency and back every five minutes aged out of style quicker than the film was able to make a decent case for itself.
Still, a worthwhile watch...some elements of the production are done very well, and Brolin makes a good W. Any liberal would enjoy, but don't expect it to live up to Michael Moore.
