The "Bush & Co in the White House" segments were basically hammy and unbelievable - maybe still too recent and familiar to accept in a dramatized way. I did enjoy the flashback and George Sr. scenes a lot more (gotta love James Cromwell).
Also, Elizabeth Banks could have used some old lady makeup - way, way too hot to be Laura.
