Pulls almost every punch in an effort to walk the middle ground and is all the less entertaining for it. Whatever may be said of the 43rd President, he was never as dull as this film, and a group of competent performances led by Brolin in the lead don't change the fact that you'll never sit through this more than one arse-numblingly long 2 hour session.
