Review of Vox Lux (2018) by Manny V — 17 Dec 2018
The opening sequence of this movie touched a nerve. It leaves you wanting for a resolution or at least some direction to the whole conflict. The school shooting was wow... the director made it a major theme, BUT they never addressed it again!
I enjoyed the first two acts, the evolution of the character and the whole process, it felt it was going somewhere but it never took off. The finale was kinda of a let down. It leaves you wanting a resolution.
