Once upon a time, movies were made with insight into the actors, the writers, and the directors and had intelligent humor. Sinatra, in the classic Hero's journey, does a great job with a well written script (and all the Italians speak Italian, the Germans speak German.
.. and they say modern audiences are more sophisticated).
