Review of Von Ryan's Express (1965) by Nandi C — 15 Aug 2007
Sinatra makes a compelling performance as a Army POW who is one of the highest ranking men there. They decide to escape from the camp which they do in a train slated to go to Germany, but instead goes to Switzerland thanks to the Italian engineers along the way.
Of course, no one knows it's a escapee train and for the most part, they have some hairy moments since folks think theyre German and all. Will keep you glued to the seat.
