Review of Voices of a Distant Star (2002) by Clyde R — 20 Mar 2008
Short anime feature tells the love story of two high school friends torn apart by space and time. Directed by my favorite anime director Makoto Shinkai, his technique in capturing the emotion blending with just enough flash and harmonic music to form a perfect peice of art.
The animation is absolutely superb for small time production, and the most amazing thing about this is that it tells the story in 25 minutes where some shows cant get across in 13 episodes. Recommended for all anime fans.
