Vivegam is like a mixed bag. It is actually a compromise between the "masaledaar" type of Tamil Movie and the fantasy of Hollywood. But, having the main audience as South Indians, Vivegam doesn't quite fit the bill.
It is good, but fails to satisfy its target audience. Vivegam shows that a good story isn't as important as execution of the script to target audiences'. tastes. The script is good, the graphics are good and the locations are good, but there is the traditional masala of Tamil movies missing here.
What we have here is Disney making a documentary about the Evolution of species (Not literally). It would be good, but you wouldn't want to fall in love with it.
