Review of Vital (2004) by Elliot M — 03 Jul 2007
A typically oblique film from Tsukamoto. But as with his other films, this is challenging, beautiful and strangely humane. Beneath the dissections, auto-eroticism and suicide, this is a haunting - and very handsome - film about love, memories and mourning.
Highly recommended.
