Review of Visitor Q (2001) by Matthew K — 15 Feb 2008
Horrible production values (filmed on a digital camera that moved erratically), nonexistent story, and endless scenes of perversity and insanity. Disturbing, disgusting, and beyond sick - there's no logical explanation for it being only rated R.
There are two hilarious scenes, but they didn't make sitting through this boring, pointless crap worth it. And I enjoyed Miike's other movies. Heck, I'm a fan of dark humor and extreme, shock cinema, but this was pornographic.
This is probably the most twisted, sickest "movie" I've seen - normally that would be a sign of respect from me but this is so poorly made and vile that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
