Miike's metaphorical film on a disparaged family is certainly analytical, but lets be honest about something: Visitor Q is just another venue for Miike to get off on his sadistic fetishes. I don't think there is a minute in this film that is comfortable or sane.
Necrophilia, rape, incest, domestic abuse, prostitution, murder, masochism, laxation, drug abuse, and brutality are all present and accounted for (and the film is less than 90 minutes!). Decide for yourself if it's twisted art, or just plain twisted.
