Review of Visioneers (2008) by Dan C — 11 Aug 2009
Zach Galifianakis proves he is more than a goofy character actor (a la 'The Hangover' or 'Dog Bites Man'). I thought this film was brilliantly written and Galifianakis turns in a powerhouse performance as George Washington Winsterhammerman, a corporate drone for the world's largest corporation.
While this film certainly lacks a strong plot, when compared to most other films, it succeeds as a thought-provoking character study and begs the question, 'What is true happiness?'.
