Review of Visioneers (2008) by Dominic P — 16 Jul 2012
I love dark comedy movies, but this one was the darkest I have seen so far. Zach Galifianakis is much better than I thought he would be, he showed us that he is not as shallow and/or stupid as we might think he is.
The movie talks about a dystopian world, a world where everything is controlled just like Equilibrium; everyone's emotions are being locked-out while others who try to escape keep 'exploding' from anger, anxiety, and sadness.
That is when the key of happiness is revealed during the movie which is... i'm still trying to figure it out but you have to watch the movie. The two brothers who wrote and directed the movie are very smart and creative to come up with a movie that makes people smile, think, and be happy eventually about the entire film.
I really hope they make more movies like these and include Zach in them. Bravo.
