Review of Viridiana (1962) by William W — 28 Sep 2014
Another outstanding treatise against, not religion but organized religion, and the facades that exists, both within families and different socioeconomic levels of society. Bunuel's camera movements, especially his pan shots, are remarkable here, as he establishes a veritable clinic on filmmaking.
The script and acting could hardly be bettered, either.
