Review of Vincere (2009) by George Q — 10 Mar 2010
I actually fell asleep during a screening of this film during TIFF (I was quite tired... so... that could be part of it) but I found this film to have one of the most confusing narratives I've ever seen committed to film.
And who had the bright idea of having the same actor play both Benito Mussolini and his illegitimate son, twenty years on? There was no explanation, and it took me a good five minutes of dialogue to realize what was going on.
