Review of Vincere (2009) by Matt U — 30 Apr 2010
Vincere is an intense character study. The acting is top notch, and the director's use of cinema and Maddinesque over-titles and headlines advance the storyline without getting in the way. There are some gorgeous shots, which also serve the film rather than distract from it.
