Review of Vincent (1982) by Murder C — 10 Jan 2008
One of two of Tim Burton's early short movies that can be found on the "Nightmare Before Christmas" DVD. In this stop-motion short we see a young boy named Vincent Malloy (who looks a lot like Tim Burton himself) that dreams himself away to be just like Vincent Price (who just happens to be the narrator of the movie and a hero of Tim's).
So I guess that "Vincent" is more or less a short movie about Tim Burton's childhood. It's well made and well read and really worth watching.
