Review of Village of the Damned (1995) by Steve O — 29 May 2009

Ill-advised re-make of the classic b&w screen adaptation of john wyndham's 'the midwich cuckoos' directed by john carpenter. notable mainly for it's cast which includes christopher reeve (superman), linda kozlowski (crocodile dundee's love interest), kirstie alley & mark hamill (luke skywalker), the later providing most of the scares as a really creepy priest with a dodgy range of pained facial expressions.

The peroxide devil children are still here but this has no atmosphere. watch the original or better still, read the book.
